Group Meeting
Every Saturday at 9:30AM (CST), we offer a free online group meeting designed to support men from all backgrounds, locations, and walks of life in the areas of lust, loneliness, and various other struggles that men face on a daily basis. This gathering provides a space for genuine fellowship, mutual accountability, meaningful learning, vulnerable conversations and a chance to both give and receive compassionate prayer. Begin your journey toward healing and purpose with us—we look forward to seeing you there.

METHODS TO ACCOMPLISH GOALS
Fellowship
Every Saturday, we gather to fellowship, sharing life, faith, and encouragement in a supportive community. This time together is vital in combating loneliness and provides the accountability needed to grow spiritually and personally. Through these gatherings, we strengthen bonds, deepen our faith, and remind one another that we are not alone in our journey.
Prayer
Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. We begin our meetings with prayer and dedicate time for members to pray for each other in breakout rooms. We believe prayer is essential for unlocking freedom in every man's journey, and we prioritize it in every meeting.
Confession/Praise Reports
Accountability is key to breaking any addiction. Sin thrives in isolation, but shining a light on it leads to freedom. In every meeting, we split our members into breakout rooms of three to celebrate victories or confess sins from the previous week.
Teaching
At every meeting, we offer teaching based on a passage of scripture or a relevant article that aligns with our core focus.
Vulnerable Conversations
We encourage participants to be as honest as they feel comfortable about their struggles and life circumstances. We believe true healing occurs through honesty. Our meetings provide a judgment-free space for these vulnerable conversations to take place.
Targeted Resources
Men Overcoming Life offers a wide range of resources that align with our core mission, purposefully designed to guide and support participants through every step of their healing journey.
RULES
Listen and let others speak without interruption. Everyone deserves the chance to speak and be heard.
(James 1:19 - "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.")Be honest and vulnerable when sharing. True healing can only occur through honesty.
(James 5:16 - "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.")Do not judge others. Some sins may seem worse than others, but the truth is we are all broken sinners in need of Christ’s grace. No one here is better than anyone else.
(Matthew 7:1-3 - "Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged. For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use.")Confidentiality is crucial. We are asking you to be extremely vulnerable, and for this to work, we must honor each other’s privacy. Anything shared here must remain within this group to maintain trust and foster growth.
(Proverbs 11:13 - "A gossip betrays confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.")Let Jesus Fix. It’s not your job to fix your brother; that’s Jesus’s job. As we have discussions, let's make sure our heart posture is one of listening and making others feel seen and not that of a problem solver. (Philippians 1:6 - "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.")
